Charlotte Auto Glass is the Charlotte website of Impex Auto Glass. The name comes from the words people type when they look for glass work in the city. The business behind it is Impex, a North Carolina auto glass company with a shop in north Charlotte at 5641 David Cox Rd, Charlotte, NC 28269, and its headquarters shop in Greensboro at 8748 W Market St.
There is also an unrelated Charlotte business that trades under a similar name. This website is not that company and is not connected with it. When you send the quote form on this site or call the number on it, you reach Impex Auto Glass.
The company
Impex Auto Glass is owned by Impex Auto Sales, an automotive organization headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. It sits in a group of Impex businesses that also includes Impex Chevy, Impex GM and the Impex Heavy Metal Division. Impex says the glass company grew from one person to five technicians within a year, and that today it employs 36 team members.
Impex serves all of North Carolina, all of South Carolina and parts of Georgia, with mobile service throughout that area. In Charlotte that means two ways to get the work done: at the David Cox Rd shop, or at your home, office or wherever the car is parked.
Impex also says it was named a Top 25 Auto Glass Retailer in the United States by AGRR Magazine, and its testimonials page describes it as a 2025 AGRR Magazine Top Retailer Award winner.
